Renovation of a 50 m2 apartment in Paris
12th arrondissement

The owner commissioned us to renovate her apartment which was falling apart and we had to take into account all her needs which was to have a good quality/price compromise with a functional, comfortable and aesthetic living space .

As with all our projects, we started the work by protecting the staircase and common areas with an adhesive tarpaulin placed on the ground.

Here are the different stages of removal and renovation of the apartment :

We started with the entrance by removing the entrance wall on the kitchen side, the door and the existing frames.

Then we removed the lead gas pipe from the ceiling, fixed the plaster on the wall and ceiling and then redid the electrics.

The second stage was the renovation of the kitchen . Once the existing kitchen and its furniture had been removed, we installed a new Howdens kitchen complete with appliances. Then, we redid the plumbing, the hot and cold water supply and the drains. We also installed new floor tiles and pretty wall tiles as well as a false ceiling complete with LED spotlights.

The third step was the living room. We opened the wall between the living room and the bedroom and installed a new dividing door. Then we sanded and varnished the entire parquet floor.

In the fourth step in the bedroom , we removed the existing door and opened up the wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. Instead, we installed a sliding door and then sanded and varnished the parquet floor.

As a final step in the bathroom , we removed the bathtub, toilet, taps and wall tiles. We then redid the plumbing, installed a new shower as well as a vanity unit with mirror. Finally, we laid new floor tiles.

The renovation work carried out in this apartment in Paris also includes the installation of all electrical and plumbing elements, as well as painting work.
